Compact｜Lagrimas del Valle 'El Chiqueno' Reposado Tequila 2022｜ Other Products

Lágrimas del Valle is El Tequileño's single-field series — one harvest, one plot, one year — and El Chiqueño 2022 Reposado is that field's plata given a short rest in oak. Antonio Salles is the third generation at La Guarreña, NOM 1108, the Salles family distillery in the town of Tequila since 1959 and the house pour of the town itself; Lágrimas del Valle — tears of the valley — is his terroir project, and each release names its field and year. The El Chiqueño Reposado is 100% blue Weber agave from the El Chiqueño plot, harvested in 2022, slow-cooked in brick ovens, fermented with the house's volcanic spring water, double-distilled, rested briefly in American oak so the field still leads, and bottled at 40% ABV, additive-free; check your bottle for the lote. Expect the valley's earthy, mineral cooked agave with the field's green pepper, citrus, and wet stone, lightly rounded by the oak into a faint vanilla and honey, dense and oily on the palate with a long, clean, peppery finish. Honest note: a single-field vintage reposado from one of the most respected family distilleries in Tequila, made in tiny quantities and gone when it's gone — taste it beside the El Chiqueño Plata to see exactly what a few months of wood does to one piece of ground. Neat, in a copita. One field, one year, rested.Buy Lagrimas del Valle 'El Chiqueno' Reposado Tequila 2022 online with fast shipping right to your door.
