Next Generation｜The Format: B-Sides & Rarities (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 2LP｜ Other Products

Reissued on vinyl for the first time. This 2007 collection of rarities and B-sides from The Format was previously a CD-only release, but thankfully The Vanity Label has stepped up and put it on wax. As the title suggests, this double LP compilation brings together many rarities and B-sides from vocalist Nate Ruess and multi-instrumentalist Sam Means. Includes several demos tracks including "Seven Digit Pin Code," "Dear Boy," "Dead End," and "If Work Permits," plus acoustic versions ("Matches") and covers of artists like Bruce Springsteen ("For You"), Harry Nilsson ("The Lottery Song"), XTC ("1000 Umbrellas") and The Kinks ("Apeman"). 2016 reissue comes on double clear vinyl with gatefold sleeve. Limited to 1000 copies.
