Gift-Worthy｜ Other Products ｜Weldon Irvine: Spirit Man Vinyl LP

A name that brings cash to the dealer table. For the funk collector, this LP is one of particular interest for the track "We Gettin Down." Made famous by ATCQ's "Award Tour," this track is more than a famous sample. The entire song carries a weird playful vibe... part funky, part children's record. Check out the upbeat vocals, sloppy playing and random whistles and shouts. This unusual style really sets this track apart and should have a place in your funk collection. Also check out "Pogo Stick." It carries the same vibe with its funky drums, playful synth, and spoken jokes. The album is rounded out by 2 atmospheric tracks ("Yasmin," "Softly") and 3 more jazz oriented tracks. Official Nature Sounds reissue.
