Super SpecPlug is a single-component, add-water mortar that expands slightly as it sets, forming a durable, watertight bond without shrinking or oxidizing. It's certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for potable water contact.

Application Instructions

Enlarge cracks to at least 3/4" in width and depth, cut square or undercut (avoid "V" shaped cuts)
Clean the substrate thoroughly to remove grease, wax, oil, and other contaminants
Saturate the surface with water, leaving no standing water
Mix with clean water to a putty consistency — approximately 20-21% water by weight, or about 9.5 pints per 50 lbs of product
Mix only what can be placed within 2 minutes
For vertical or moving-water applications, hold firmly in place until final set, about 3 minutes
Keep damp for optimal strength — wet curing for up to 2 days gives the best results
