Staff Pick｜Common: Like Water For Chocolate Vinyl 2LP｜ Food & Beverages

Common's breakout full length reissued on vinyl! 2000's Like Water For Chocolate was Common's fourth studio album (pre-acting career) and has proven to be one of the Chi-town MC's finest on wax. Lyrically Common was at the top of his game, finding the perfect balance of social consciousness and mass appeal. Along with legends in the game handling production including ?uestlove, Jay Dee (J Dilla), DJ Premier, and appearances from D'angelo, Mos Def, The Roots, Slum Village, Karriem Riggins, and more  - it's easy to see why this is considered a modern masterpiece of hip-hop music. Includes the crossover hit "The Light," "The Question," "Funky For You" with Jill Scott, "The Sixth Sense," "Heat," and more. Recommended.
