Bastille 1789 Single Malt is a French whisky named for the storming of the Bastille, made in the Cognac region of western France by the Daucourt family. It is distilled from 100% malted barley grown in northern France and matured in French oak, including Limousin oak from the Cognac trade, which gives it a softer, rounder profile than most Scottish malts. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle with the brand's distinctive tricolor label. The nose is elegant and floral with orchard fruit and a hint of spice. The palate opens with caramel and honey sweetness and moves into vanilla, toasted nuts and gentle oak, finishing smooth and lingering. It is an easy, approachable single malt that drinks well neat or over ice and makes a fun alternative to Scotch for anyone curious about the growing world of French whisky.Buy Bastille 1789 French Single Malt Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
