Product description
The Martin M-7 Johnny Marr unites the legendary craftsmanship of Martin and the innovative artistry of one of musicʼs most iconic players. Whether you're a lifelong fan of The Smiths, searching for new sounds, or simply a lover of fine guitars, this seven-string wonder is sure to be a light that never goes out in your musical collection.
The standout feature of the Martin M-7 is its unique seven-string configuration, adding an octave G string to the mix. This design delivers Marrʼs unmistakable jangle, making it perfect for replicating the lush, intricate sounds of his most iconic tracks. Designed in close collaboration with Marr, its genuine mahogany neck with a full thickness profile, standard taper, and slightly hinner width at the nut provides a unique feel, allowing for fluid transitions and complex chord structures. Equipped with LR Baggs Anthem electronics, the M-7 ensures your sound is perfectly captured on stage or in the studio with volume, mix, mic level, and phase controls.
Paired with its unique seven-string setup, premium tonewoods, and stunning aesthetics like a three-piece back, modern pyramid ebony bridge, and antique toner, this custom artist guitar is designed to inspire and perform at the highest level.
