Worth Discovering｜Ghost: Opvs Eponymovs - Rise Above 30th Anniversary (Gold Sparkle Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP｜ Other Products

Debut studio album from Sweden's premiere purveyors of Catholic-roleplay death metal, Ghost! "Ghost started when I played a riff to everybody else. I said that this is probably the most heavy metal riff that has ever existed," explains frontman Tobias Forge on how the impetus for Ghost came when he and a handful of the other band members (*nameless ghouls) were at a practice session for their previous band. "And when I fit the words in, it seemed to cry out for a Satanically-oriented lyric." This pressing of Opvs Eponymovs (Latin for self-titled work) comes on gold sparkle colored vinyl to celebrate Rise Above's 30th anniversary. Only 2,000 pressed.
