Fercullen 21 Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey｜ Other Products

Fercullen 21 Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey comes from Powerscourt Distillery on the Powerscourt Estate in County Wicklow, where veteran master distiller Noel Sweeney oversees the range. This release pairs 21-year-old malt whiskey, matured in bourbon casks for two decades, with a finish in sherry casks inspired by the bodegas of Andalusia. It is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof). The long bourbon maturation gives it honeyed malt, vanilla and soft tropical fruit; the sherry finish layers on dark fruit, fig and toasted nut. The texture is silky, and the finish is long, elegant and gently spiced. This is a whiskey for slow, contemplative sipping neat.Age-stated Irish single malt over twenty years old is rare and getting rarer, and this 750ml bottle is a serious gift or collection piece at a fair price for its age.
