Magnolia rustica rubra is a  soulangeana hybrid known as a cup and saucer magnolia.  It has the traditional look of a magnolia but is a fantastic large tree ideal for creating a bit of shade or privacy in many gardens. These larhe sized trees are adorned with masses of upright rosy pink flower buds that open white on the interior of the petals and are in a cup shape. They are highly perfumed flowers which are used not only in gardens but as a architectural piece in cut flowers. They emerge from mid to early Spring. Large, dark green leaves appear after flowering.
A beautiful, structured tree for any garden reaching 6-8m high and wide. Ideal for creating a shaded area in the garden and can grow in a full sun to semi shaded location.
Our plants are in 300mm pots and are very large 1.6m-2m out of the pots with a great very well-established branch structure and cannot be posted, collection from one of our stores only.
