Weekend Deal｜Pōkeno Discovery Aotearoa New Zealand Single Malt Whisky｜ Other Products

Pōkeno Discovery is a core release from Pōkeno Whisky Company, the Waikato distillery south of Auckland founded by Matt Johns, a Scotch industry veteran who set out to make world-class single malt in New Zealand. Discovery is built from parcels of malt fully matured in first-fill bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which are then married together in cask before bottling at 43% ABV, non chill-filtered, in a 700ml bottle. The sherry casks lead: dark chocolate, Black Forest gâteau and ripe cherries on the nose and palate, lifted by sweet citrus and vanilla from the bourbon wood, with a rich, smooth texture and a remarkably long finish. It is one of the best introductions to New Zealand whisky on the market and a great value for a sherried malt of this quality.Buy Pōkeno Discovery Aotearoa New Zealand Single Malt Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
