It celebrates Sir Arthur John Tedder, the excise officer who arrived at Glengoyne in 1889 and went on to help write the rules of modern Scotch, including the three-year minimum maturation and the requirement for oak casks, before being knighted for his work.Married from refill sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 96 proof, non-chill-filtered, it shows dark berry jam, sugared almond and vanilla bean on the nose, then dark raisin, Medjool date and blackberry with marshmallow and cinnamon sugar on the palate, finishing with dark berry and orange oil.
