Maxxis Dissector 27.5 x 2.4" WT 3C MaxxTerra EXO TR Tire
The signature tire from Troy Brosnan, the Australian DH Star. The Maxxis Dissector is designed for the optimum combination of low rolling resistance and best cornering grip. This versatile tire is therefore actually a rear tire, but can also be used in the front or on both wheels, depending on the surface.
Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tyre that rolls madly fast, mills precisely through curves and decelerates accordingly well if necessary. The tread pattern of Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was used as the basis for this and was designed in close cooperation with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season.

TECHNOLOGIES
TUBELESS READY (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure and therefore have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with hose, and where there is no hose, the risk of breakdowns is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tires, because the bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful with the first inflation and with little liquid on all rims that comply with the standard dimensions.
EXO PROTECTION
EXO is a cut- and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of many Maxxis mountain bike and gravel tires. This densely woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for enhanced durability for gravel, XC, and light-duty trail riding.
3C MAXXTERRA
Maxxis’ 3C MaxxTerra is an intermediate triple compound configuration used across our mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, which makes it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
WIDE TRAIL CASING (WT)
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tire shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.
