This edition is produced by mezcalero Juan Morales García in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca: cultivated espadín and wild barril, an Agave karwinskii so thick-leaved that Oaxacans plant it as fencing, each pit-roasted over wood, crushed, naturally fermented, and copper-pot distilled, then blended and bottled at around 40% ABV.
