The HJC HJ-38 ShadeX Shield is built to keep your vision clear and consistent through changing conditions. Designed for the i11, i71, and F71 helmets, this photochromatic visor automatically adjusts its tint as light shifts, so you can move from bright sun to shaded roads without interruption. It eliminates the need to carry extra shields or stop mid-ride, giving you one solution that works all day. ShadeX technology reacts quickly to UV exposure, darkening in bright environments and returning to a clearer state as light fades. With a visible light transmission range of 30–80% and 99% UV protection, it helps reduce glare and eye fatigue while maintaining visibility. The Pinlock-ready design adds fog control capability, making this shield a practical upgrade for riders who want convenience and performance in one setup.
