Product description
Stunning and slightly cranky old Sony endless cartridge tape echo - so creative and fun to use, bit noisy, old tape, but ace - see demo. As used by Adrian Sherwood with Primal Scream. Please don't buy this expecting our usual perfection - it's got character, we love it, but please read the comments below.
In less-than-perfect working order, but you don't buy this for pristine repeats: you buy it because it's fun and inspiring to use. A tape echo you really play (see demo)
The good part - complete, in good cosmetic order and working well following a service some time ago. The less good - the motor is not the quietest and the cartridge is quite old, has probably been reloaded at some point and has a short section that is a little damaged. It could be rewound or the offending section spliced out, but we've been using it and enjoying the random glitch factor it periodically introduces. Or you could pay £170 extra and get it complete with a NOS Sony cart instead.
240v machine

Welcome to the first impromptu Soundgas Soundclash aka Battle of the Delays: Chips vs Tape. . Echo Dek available now - just listed on the site and sounding monstrous in Tony's hands. Such a great piece of kit - don't sleep on this one if you want a great creative effect. Meanwhile Dec combines the Hawk HA-30 and Boss DM-3 we have listed now for some stacked BBD mayhem. Oh and one of the 808s is still available as well
