Taylor NOS 814ce-NGrand Auditorium Acoustic Electric
Premium nylon-string tone with all-solid rosewood depth and refined Taylor playability
The Taylor NOS 814ce-N expands your tonal palette with the warmth, responsiveness, and elegant feel that make a premium nylon-string Acoustic Electric so rewarding to play. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, this Grand Auditorium model delivers deep lows, shimmering highs, and articulate note definition in a design that feels equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in more intimate practice settings. As a Taylor NOS model, it offers an excellent opportunity to own a high-end Taylor at a lower price while still enjoying premium craftsmanship and long-term value.
A 20" radius fingerboard and 1-7/8" nut width provide comfortable spacing for fingerstyle playing and more intricate nylon-string technique without feeling oversized or cumbersome. Taylor's ES-N electronics help preserve the guitar's natural voice when amplified, while elegant wood and mother-of-pearl appointments complete a refined instrument built for modern players who want both tradition and versatility.
Rich nylon-string voice with premium solid-wood construction
The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides gives this model a full, balanced voice with rich bass, sparkling treble, and clear articulation across the range. The Grand Auditorium body shape helps add versatility, making this guitar well suited to fingerstyle pieces, accompaniment, and expressive crossover playing.
Comfortable feel for modern nylon-string players
The classical-inspired neck design offers room for detailed finger work while maintaining a smooth, approachable feel. With its 20" radius fingerboard and 1-7/8" nut width, the 814ce-N supports precise playing and comfortable spacing for players who want a refined nylon-string experience without sacrificing playability.
